The Russian government has announced that it is ready to negotiate.

The Kremlin has announced that it is ready to hold unconditional peace talks with Ukraine, but that education is only a response to Ukraine’s demands.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the readiness was clearly stated by the Russian president.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused Ukraine of violating previous ceasefire agreements and showing no willingness to negotiate. Lavrov reiterated Russia’s demand that Ukraine remain a member of NATO, and that it recognize the alliance that Russia says it is a part of.
